MCC 7500

Motorola's MCC 7500 IP Dispatch Console offers users seamless integration into Dimetra IP TETRA networks that delivers a high quality command and control solution  that provides interoperability, affordability and security advantages for mission critical communications. With simplified configuration, high audio quality and superior protection of communications information MCC 7500 has a user interface that is both easy and efficient to operate. By offering seamless connectivity operators have the capability to geographically distribute dispatch resources anywhere on the network.

 

By connecting directly to IP networks the MCC 7500 console does not require interface boxes, digital voice gateways or backroom electronics. All console activity, including trunked and conventional audio, auxiliary inputs/outputs and configuration/fault management is supported by the IP network. Integration of MCC 7500 with the radio system enables full participation in end-to-end voice encryption for secure communications, priority handling of emergency calls and Agency partitioning. 

 

Dispatch performance is enhanced and bandwidth is used more efficiently by using IP multicast technology. In doing so the flexibility of the bandwidth has also increased while the cost for operating remote console locations is minimized.  In addition console configuration is performed at a centralized network client so changes are distributed automatically thus reducing personnel and technician costs.

The MCC 7500 has the capability to quickly re-route call traffic in the event of an IP network failure, minimizing lost audio and any potential impact on the end user. Calls are set up with in fractions of a second, irregardless of the size of the system and emergency calls are always prioritized despite the congestion on the network.
