American International Radio, Inc Hosts “Working Together to Stay Strong” Conference
Dubrovnik, Croatia–20th May 2009, American International Radio Inc, hosted a regional partner conference this week in conjunction with Motorola Italy to provide business and channel partners from the Balkan region the opportunity to engage in technical training on Motorola’s MOTOTRBO™ System and to gain advantages into selling in today’s economically challenged market and working together to overcome those challenges.
AIR kicked off their regional event this year by providing a training seminar conducted by, Motorola Italy’s Ugo Gentile, on the new features of the MOTOTRBO™ system. This digital system has been sold successfully throughout the EMEA region by AIR and their partners, and the training provided offered participants new competitive incentives to take to market. In a time when every advantage counts, guests walked away with invaluable information to strengthen their product portfolio and expertise.
AIR Executive Vice President of Distribution, Rolf Pein, greeted all delegates on day two of the conference stating, “As our relationship with Motorola continues to grow, so does our commitment to our business partners within the EMEA region. AIR is committed to working closely with our partners during this time of financial crisis across the globe, to strengthen our collective presence, while investing in the regional markets and working together to offer our partners more dedicated technical, as well as business/marketing support. We are willing and committed to help our partners to succeed in their business!”
Mr. Pein’s bold statement was reinforced by the presentations that followed; highly geared toward sales optimization and feature rich successes across the globe; they provided all guests with fresh ideas, practical selling skills and strategies to further promote their lines of business.

Representatives of AIR also introduced an expansion in their TETRA product portfolio adding a low-tier TETRA option called TETRAflex (made available by DAMM) which partners saw as yet another competitive advantage for them to take into the market. Safemobile applications closed out the day, highlighting the benefits of adding the technology onto Motorola’s MOTOTRBO™ system and showcasing the competitive advantages of the solution.
