The Motorola GM1280 Professional Series mobile offers users a simple, intuitive menu with an expanded keypad to deliver a feature rich and effective communication solution The GM1280's signaling package is fully compliant with MPT and includes MPT1343, Regionet 43 and ANN modes of operation. GM1280 is configurable for up to 60 personalities which include Talkgroup Select and conventional signaling.

The Main Features of Motorola GM1280 Professional Series Mobile Radios

Enhanced features include: a built in pager with the ability to receive and send (through the contact list) data messages or add on the optional MAP27 board to communicate with other external data devices to increase your communication range and capabilities; a voice recorder, allowing you to store and receive messages, as well as a voice messenger so callers can leave a message on your radio. To add to the levy of features the GM1280 carries the external alarm is a more prominent feature that integrates with the vehicle's electrical system (lights and horn)to activate upon receipt of an incoming call, so even when you're away from your vehicle you'll never miss a call.
