Zetron's Model 1730 Controller offers users a flexible, cost effective solution to connect mulitple RTUs over widely distributed remote site areas to a central program. This controller manages communications for a medium to high-end SCADA system that includes a mix of Zetron RTUs( M1708, M1716 and M1732), but is most ideal for larger SCADA applications. With the power to serve dual functions as Controller and “local terminal unit”, the Model 1730 can be configured to monitor co-located equipment and processes.
 
 

The Main Features of Zetron M1730 Remote Terminal Unit Controllers

 
By being able to manage up to 150 wireless RTUs the M1730 controller provides the flexibility, adaptability and coverage your organization needs to stay in constant communication with one another over large coverage areas. The modular design allows for expansion of digital I/O's so the controller can also perform RTU functions, eliminating the need for another device at the location.
