May 12th-15th 2015 – American International Radio Inc., hosted a three day regional conference addressed to its channel partners in Balkans, Middle East and Africa. The event focused on the latest technology in digital radio communication and especially the migration from old analog to new digital technology. This year’s conference was held at the Radisson Blu Spa and Resort Hotel, in Cesme – Turkey, and was attended by over 60 participants across Balkans, Middle East and Africa, who were introduced to the latest product and solution offerings from Motorola Solutions, AIR, Vertex Standard, Cambium Networks, including MOTOTRBO™ and TETRA radios and systems, Vertex Standard analog and digital portfolio as well as Safemobile’s most recent releases, SafeDispatch V6.0, SafeNet 4.0, RadioPad and X10DR Long Range Wireless Secure Microphone.
Dorel Nasui, CEO and President of AIR, kicked off the conference by greeting all participants with a powerful message of strength and diversity. In his welcome message, Dorel Nasui stated: “It is a great pleasure and honor to see you all here! You, our partners, are our most valuable asset. We are committed to help you succeed in your business, to strengthen our collective presence, while investing in the regional markets and working together with you to provide you with the leverage you need in this highly competitive and dynamic business of radio telecommunication”
The conference continued with the “AIR Products, Systems, Services and Applications” overview delivered by Rolf Pein, AIR Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Rolf presented the current portfolio available at AIR, including the new line of products from manufacturers such as Procom (antenna systems), Total Recall VR, (Voice logging and call recording systems) Smiths Power (products for power management and protection for mission critical systems).
Thorsten Altemoeller, Sales Director of AIR Wireless Broadband Solutions Division gave a detailed presentation on AIR’s Wireless Broadband products and solutions covering Point to Point, Point to Multipoint, Mesh/WIFI, solutions for ISPs, Metropolitan, Surveillance, etc. and introduced the new AIR BB NEO and LTE products, all aimed at helping enterprises, service providers and municipalities/governments to connect reliably anywhere and everywhere.
Riccardo Manzini, EA Business Manager at Motorola Solutions provided a vivid and detailed update on both MOTOTRBO™ Radios and MOTOTRBO™ Systems offerings, diving deep into the competitive advantages of the migration to digital technology. The highlight of Riccardo’s presentations was undoubtedly MOTOTRBO™ next generation 2.0, including the DM/DP4000, DM/DP2000, DM/DP1000, DP3441, and SL4000 Series as well as the Connect Plus, Capacity Plus and Linked Capacity Plus MOTOTRBO™ Systems. The flexibility and possibility offered by MOTOTRBO™ systems along with the best-in-class audio quality, embedded GPS, Bluetooth - all offered by next generation MOTOTRBO™- have grabbed the audience attention throughout the whole presentations.
The conference progressed with a very insightful analysis on the opportunities for growth and challenges in the telecommunication industry, delivered by Guy Kelnhofer, member of AIR Board of Directors, followed by a Safemobile Solutions portfolio overview delivered by Paulina Labudova, EMEA account manager. To emphasize just how far customers could utilize the MOTOTRBO™ and TETRA systems to their full potential, Paulina presented the GPS monitoring solutions and applications for vehicles, personnel and assets - SafeDispatch® V6.0 and SafeDispatch® Mobile (client hosted) & SafeNet ® V4.0 (cloud based).
Martin Fuerst, EA Channel Director of Sales for TETRA at Motorola Solutions, continued with an overall TETRA sales overview, followed by the deep dive into Dimetra IP Compact and Dimetra IP Micro system offerings and the comprehensive TETRA terminal overview.
The second day of the conference started with an AIR Marketing Updated provided by Catalina Tatu, Marketing Manager of AIR Radio Business and Ileana Marcu Marketing Manager responsible for the Wireless Broadband Division. The presentation focused on how AIR can support its channel partners to further grow their business from marketing’s perspective. The key messages pointed on how our current and potential partners could benefit from the marketing support and communication platform provided by AIR.
Paulina Labudova, EMEA Account Manager at Safemobile delivered a comprehensive presentation on X10DR® Long Range Wireless Speaker Microphone, that empowers multiple team members to securely communicate with a single mobile radio, via an encrypted wireless remote speaker microphone up to hundreds of meters from your vehicle.
Andre Flasche, EMEA Sales Director at Vertex Standard continued with a very thorough presentation on the current Vertex Standard Analog and DMR portfolio, highlighting e-Verge capabilities and pointing out the advantages of conversion from analogue to digital to achieve greater convenience.
Cambium Networks Case Studies Presentation lead by Regional Sales Manager Elwira Koszewska, closed out the day, showcasing the most successful success stories within the region and the main benefits of using the Cambium Networks wireless broadband solutions and technologies.
The third day was dedicated to one on one business discussions, strategic planning and sight-seeing.
The event itself was very successful at reinforcing AIR’s presence in Balkans, Middle East and Africa and highlighting the benefits of various innovative products, solutions and technologies distributed by AIR, such as MOTOTRBO™, Dimetra IP Micro, Dimetra IP Compact, SafeDispatch®, SafeNet®, RadioPad, and many more. The success of the event was mirrored as well in the continuous discussions afterwards between partners, AIR and vendors.
